Teacher Script & Notes
What to say / Spoken Script
Experimental probability, or relative frequency, is calculated from actual trials. As the number of trials increases, the experimental probability gets closer and closer to the theoretical probability. This is called the Law of Large Numbers.
What to do / Action Guide
Display the graph showing relative frequency stabilizing at 0.5 (theoretical coin toss probability) as trials increase.
Pedagogical Tips
Explain that small numbers of trials can have highly volatile results.
